Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Phoenix is seeking a creative and organized Outreach Coordinator to lead communications and community engagement during a major sanctuary renovation. This is expected to take a year to complete.

This role will publicize each phase of the renovation through social media, photos, and videos—building excitement within our congregation and the broader community. The Outreach Coordinator will promote special events showcasing the renewed worship space and help invite new visitors to experience Emmanuel.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and posting engaging social media content (photos, videos, updates)
• Promoting renovation milestones and special events
• Developing strategies to increase community engagement
• Ensuring messaging reflects the church’s mission and welcoming spirit

Qualifications:

• Experience in social media, communications, or marketing
• Strong writing and storytelling skills
• Basic photo/video editing skills preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage projects

Flexible schedule; some weekend and event hours may be required. Salary: $22 per hour, approximately 10 hours per week.
