Our Mission in Action
At EPC, our Mission team is vibrant and active with a heart for service. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and we not only give generously through monetary gifts but also engage personally in projects that reach out with compassion, support, and love. Our guiding principle is serving those nearby and far away as God leads us.
We share leadership and encourage every member to bring forward projects they are passionate about. Together, we support and uplift one another as we carry out these ministries—both locally and globally. We set a low bar to supporting new projects!
Local Outreach
Paradise Valley Food Bank – Ongoing donations of food and funds to support local families.
St. Mary’s Food Bank Project – Reaching even more people across the Valley with needed food supplies.
Hope and Healing Home at Mayo – EPC members prepare and serve meals to families in medical crisis.
Purses for Women in Assisted Living – Mother’s Day gifts to brighten the lives of senior women.
Salvation Army Water Drive – Providing hydration during Arizona’s extreme heat.
Elder TLC – Christmas gifts for nursing home residents who might otherwise be forgotten.
Mission Holiday Craft/Bake Sale – A joyful fundraising effort with delicious and creative contributions.
Countless volunteer hours – Spent cooking, shopping, packing, delivering, building, and more—always with the love of Jesus at the center.
National and Global Missions
Amor Ministries – In February each year, over 20 EPC volunteers travel to Rocky Point, Mexico, to build a home for a family in need. This is a whole-church effort, though. We raise all the funds for the build every year for over 20 years. Our Crafters make a quilt and curtains for the new home. Other members donate household items, toys, and things that just make a new home more–homelike!
Collins Missionary Family – Supporting a missionary family engaged in aviation ministry.
One Great Hour of Sharing – Contributing to a Presbyterian fund responding to global crises.
My Missionary Online – Providing missionaries around the world with free websites to support their ministries.
Shuchell Dooshi Masani Foundation – Donating backpacks and school supplies to the children of the Navajo Nation each school year.
Operation Christmas Child – Spreading joy and the Gospel through gift-filled shoeboxes sent worldwide.
Gratitude and Invitation
We are deeply thankful for our congregation’s generosity—your time, talents, and resources make a difference every single day. And we extend a heartfelt thank-you to our Mission team for their dedication, creativity, and compassion in leading these efforts.
Join us in serving others and living out the Gospel. Together, we can continue to impact lives for Christ in our neighborhood and across the globe.
