Reverend Dr. Jennifer Blake
Pastor Jenni became the 5th Pastor at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in September of 2023. A California native, she received her undergraduate degree in Children’s Ministry from Hope International University. She later received her Master of Divinity degree (1999), Master in Family Studies degree (2011) and a Doctor of Ministry degree (2017) from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Jenni has over 25 years of pastoral ministry experience having served churches in Central Kansas, Southern California, Nebraska and now Arizona. She has a deep joy and love for Jesus that is contagious and she loves sharing her creativity, passion and love with all who call this place home.

Susan Blease
Susan joined EPC as the office administrator in November 2023, following her retirement from a long career in private school administration. She enjoys time with her two children, two grandchildren, and shares her home with a dog and a pet bird.

Carolyn Blackburn
Director of Emmanuel’s music ministry, Carolyn has extensive music experience and leads our choir, bell choir and brass + ensemble.
Michael Ellis
A Kansas native, Michael has been Emmanuel’s church organist for over 25 years. He began playing the piano at age 8 and has served as organist and pianist in various Kansas and Phoenix churches since 1970.
